TRANSPORTATION: Cyclists will have three storages available again

28.08.2017, 19:27

Visitors of the show arriving by bicycle may use three free of charge guarded storages with the capacity of more than 10,000 bikes. Ostrava Municipal Police is in charge of protecting the storages as well as monitoring the bike route from Ostrava to the event’s venue.

Free of charge bicycle storages are very popular each year, therefore organizers of the event have altogether with the Ostrava Municipal Police decided to extend the possibilities for the visitors to park their bikes. The bicycle storages can be found at each gate, namely no. 1, 2, and 3 (see the orientation plan).

„Thanks to the helpfulness and willingness of the officers from Ostrava Municipal Police, the bikers can use the storages at 7:00AM at each entrance to the show’s venue. For the quicker check-in, the municipal police prepared two entrances (A, B) at the storage no. 2, the first one from the Petřvaldík direction and the other one from Albrechtičky,” informed Martin Svoboda from Jagello 2000.

The officers will also monitor the traffic at the bike routes around the venue to make them safe for all users. Particularly, the most monitored route will be so called Amber track, which leads from Krakow, through Ostrava to Vienna, closely to the place of event.

TIP: Information for cyclists

Beside the Ostrava Municipal Police, we also highly value the support of another significant partner of this event, Johnny Servis Company, which delivers the fences and bars for the bicycle storages.
