Dear visitors, participants and partners of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Forces Days, we bring you summary of basic information about the organization of Weekend’s Show of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Forces Days exhibition and also important instructions. We would appreciate your comments and suggestions after the end of this year’s NATO Days for the next year.

THE ENTRY TO THE WEEKEND SHOW IS FREE OF CHARGE

 

IMPORTANT WARNINGS AND RECOMMENDATIONS

Security of all visitors of the event as well as of participants of static & dynamic displays is our priority. We thus thank you for your thoughtfulness and respecting following rules:

  • Some displays are very loud. Protect your and yours children’s ear with a proper equipments!
  • Inform your children how to behave in the area in case they get lost. Give them a card with a contact details. In case of losing your child immediately contact organizers, staff or the police (see orientation plan of area).
  • By entering the site of the event you agree with the Visiting Rules and Code of the Event. You are aware that their breach will result in denying the entrance to the site of expulsion from the site.
  • Security checks will start in due advance (Gate 1 and Gate 2 at 6,30 a.m., Gate 3 at 8,30 a.m.)
  • Since the site is being prepared during night hours as well, if possible, we will open the gates even earlier than 8,30 a.m.
  • It is forbidden to bring animals, especially dogs and cats, with the exception with dogs with a special status (police dogs, guide dogs for blind people, etc).
  • No entrance for drunken persons.
  • No entrance for persons under the age of 15 without a company of adult person.
  • No entrance and manipulation with guns and pyrotechnic.
  • It is forbidden to make a fire in the event's area.
  • It is forbidden to bring and distribute air-balloons. 

    Please note that already for several years it is forbidden according to the Visiting Rules to bring firearms of all categories (A, B, C, D) cited in Act 119/2002 of Legal Code on firearms and ammunition as well as gas guns, expansion weapons, airsoft guns, mechanic weapons (e.g. crossbow, bow), stabbing or cutting weapons (e.g. long-blade knives, machetes, hatchets) and other objects which can be used as weapons (e.g. baseball bats, batons) or objects which can be mistaken for a weapon as well as any objects which can be considered dangerous by organisers.

ACCESS ROUTES TO THE AIRPORT AREA

GENERAL PUBLIC - Visitors of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Forces Days (16 - 17 Sept, 2017)
  • Gate 1 (from the central parking area and from Mosnov) ATTENTION, heavy traffic to the parking area!
  • Gate 2 (pedestrians and bikers from Albrechticky and Petrvald-Petrvaldik village and from special bus stops)  ATTENTION, beware vehicles passing around!
  • Gate 3 (only in case of good weather conditions – please follow the information charts in Petrvald-Petrvaldik)

  • Gate 2 (you need a permission* or invitation issued by organizers. One way route between Petrvald-Petrvaldik and Albrechticky)

PARTICIPANTS, PARTNERS (11 - 18 Sept, 2017)
  • Gate 2 (you need a permission* or invitation issued by organizers. One way route between Petrvald-Petrvaldik and Albrechticky) 
    ATTENTION, PEDESTRIANS AND BIKERS ON THE ROUTE!
* Permissions for entrance and parking in the area are issued by Jagello 2000 after request approval. Till 6 Sept, the passes are distributed by mail or in person, at Jagello 2000 offices (Výstavní 8 street, Ostrava 9). On 11 and 12 Sept, passes can be obtained upon prior agreement at the “Access Reception” at GATE No. 2. Between 13 and 17 Sept, the “Acces Reception” is moved to community centre Sokolovna located in Petřvald.

Entrance to the venue is possible one hour at lastest before the end of open hours.
Note: Official opening ceremony will be on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11.00

ENTRY FORBIDDEN TO AREAS UNDER FLIGHT DISPLAY LINE


The Chamber of Deputies of the Moravian-Silesian region, the owner of areas 410/1 and 327/3 in Albrechtičky land register (areas under flight display line) issued a confirmation of entry denial for the public to these areas in days of September 11 - 18, 2017 based on notion of Jagello 2000 due to security and organizational reasons (see orientational plan of traffic situation)
