On the national level, it is unique for the meandering Odra stream with its contiguous system of pools and branches of the river on various levels of silting, as well as for large area of permanent graminaceous vegetation with numerous spread green vegetation (a unique 2,300 ha complex of alluvial meadows), alluvial forests in the alluvial plain (almost 50% consists of oak and ash), oak-hornbeam forests on the terraces of the Odra and finally for its pond networks.
