Rare photos you won't find in the news

Official photo-reporters of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days took not only pictures of the event's static and dynamic displays, but also captured a lot of other moments before, during or after the show. We would like to present you a few interesting pictures not quite fit for “regular“ news so that you get a little perspective also from the event's backstage.

This year's biggest participant - the Dutch KDC-10 tanker towering to more than 17 meters. Just to rotate its rounded a little bit and it will be like ours :-).
Moreover, the picture illustrates challenging arrivals and departures that completely fill up the skies over Mošnov.

Two C-17 Globemasters of different units together are truly a unique view. Not only they presented themselves, but also provided a logistical support. Aerial transport of ground equipment was used for the first time in the event's history.

For comparison: Finn, the smallest participant from the ranks of the Czech Customs Administration with height about 25 cm. But his performance was also awarded with applause and his favourite toy.

L-39NG demonstrator was put together at the airport. It looks like a tiny children's toy thanks to the used tilt-shift effect.

Group of "terrorists" posing. They don't know they will be eliminated in just a few minutes…

Jordan female commando in a helicopter, shortly before their action.

For the first time, the event's visitors could use trains coming to the airport's terminal - and they did so in great numbers.

Pleased visitors waiting in Petřvald for their bus in a neat queue - you will not see that in the Czech Republic often.

Children are considered as objective critics. Do you think they liked Friday's rehearsals or not?

Dangerous work of a cameraman - covered with empty cartridges after the counter-terrorist units intervention.

One of the Saturday's fly-bys - this one was not part of the official programme.

The crew of the German EC-135 helicopter performed one of the most stylish good-byes.

The event begins and the Military High School students, who  assist the security, are given their last orders.

A closing meeting of the event's organizing board: no critical situation occurred, so the event was successful.

Some of the lost children during their wait in a perfectly equipped tent completely forgot that they are lost from their parents.

Mr Petr Jakubec, a lucky winner of the sight-seeing flight  by the LOM PRAHA Company in a contest by  idnes.cz news portal.

When one beer is not enough... ZUBR Brewery was prepared for big orders with this useful tool.

This year's fleet of the organizing team consisted of 15 red ŠKODA Rapid Spacebacks.

The TATRA TRUCKS Company presented its newest models. You wouldn't probably open your car with a door-key like this one.

And Tatra one more time: not only the newest models, but you could see (and drive away) this legend.
