Slovenian Hudourniks return after three years

14.03.2016, 14:05

After three years break, the Slovenian Air Force returns to the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. It is going to present its PC-9M Hudourniks, one in flying and one at static display.

Slovenia participated at NATO Days already in 2012 and 2013, every time with the identical equipment. "The PC-9M Hudournik aircraft belongs among assets that expand the spectrum presented at our event. It usually does not get a lot of attention, but we should keep in mind that turbo-prop aircraft also play important role in modern air forces," notes Zbyněk Pavlačík, chairman of Jagello 2000. "Moreover, the visitors can look forward to both flying and static display."

PC-9M, in Slovenia code-named Hudournik (swift) is a light two-seated airplane produced by the Pilatus company. It is used for basic training in military aviation, but it has also limited ground attack capabilities.
