For the fifth time in a row, you can be informed about the current situation at NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days thanks to our mobile app for smartphones. With its help, you will always be provided with up-to-date programme of dynamic displays, arrivals and departures included. At the same time, the app contains information about transport to and from the venue, orientation plan and other functions.

This intuitive app provides users with well-arranged interactive programme of NATO Days directly in their mobile phones or tablets, covering five days from Thursday to Monday altogether. Based on different colours, you are able to recognize what kind of dynamic display - aerial, ground-based or combined - will follow.

Similar to previous years, administrators will be working on the content during the whole event and all the changes will be displayed in the app in real time. Therefore, visitors will be immediately informed which display has been moved or cancelled, being marked in red.

“The app has become an integral part of NATO Days with the demand raising over 60% in annual terms. The fact that it is directly linked to the Display Director Office and constantly shows the current situation is only contributing to its popularity. It is the best source whatsoever when it comes to being informed” emphasizes Ivan Zít, IT manager of the event.

Users will also be able to find information about transport both to and from the event, a map of the venue, or where to look for first aid, refreshment and toilets. The app will include all the articles published on the official website www.natodays.cz as well. It can be used even to get information about lost individuals or overall number of visitors. Foreigners will surely be delighted by the fact, that the whole app is also available in English and the language will be set automatically, depending on the language of the device.

This year’s mobile app is already available to download for free from Google Play Store for Android devices, and from Apple Store for iOS devices. Visitors with Android smartphones having already downloaded the app last year, do not need to install it again, only update it.

Smartphone users will also be able to follow the natodays.cz website, as the mobile version is fully functional thanks to its latest redesign. The visitors of NATO Days, who do not own smartphones, are able to purchase a printed version of the programme at the information points, naturally without the ongoing changes and updates.

Last but not least, network operators will strengthen network signals in the vicinity of Mošnov airport due to the expected growth in the usage of voice and data transfers by the visitors.
