NATO Days in Ostrava Move to Cell Phones
This year of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days comes with several novelties. We have prepared a mobile version of our natodays.cz websites and in cooperation with our partners we have prepared also useful mobile applications.
“NATURADATA company, which created our website, has prepared a mobile version of the site for this year. You only have to enter natodays.cz in our cell phone and you will be automatically redirected to the m.natodays.cz mobile version, which offers all the necessary information,” Zbyněk Pavlačík, the chairman of the Jagello 2000 Association, which is the main organizer of the event, notes. “Also, all Czech mobile operators are going to boost their coverage at Leoš Janáček Airport Ostrava in an effort to avoid network breakdown during the event,” he adds.
“Young developers Petr Hromek jr. and Jiří Kašuba have created an Android and iOS application, which shows the most current version of event’s programme thanks to its connection with system of the display director. We thank them for it greatly, because we believe that it will find its fans between visitors that are interested in the most current times of arrivals and rehearsals, that are mainly spotters,” Pavlačík adds. The application is available for download at Google Play Store and App Store under name of “Dny NATO 2013”.
Another novelty is Dynavix Dny NATO map application, which has been prepared by the Czech Ministry of Transport in cooperation with Dynavix, a.s. company, the Czech navigation software developer. This application is usable for cell phones with Android OS and iOS. The app contains a map of Ostrava-Mošnov airport and its surroundings, it shows the programme of NATO Days in Ostrava together with a time and location of the displays, it can show number of available parking spaces and it offers many other functions that can make the visit of NATO Days in Ostrava even more enjoyable,” Martin Pichl from the Ministry of Transport of the Czech Republic notes. The application “Dynavix Dny NATO” is available for download at Google Play Store and at AppStore.
