Accreditation for Journalists

Journalists intending to request accreditation for the 12th NATO Days in Ostrava & 3rd Czech Air Force Days and the FLYIN 2012* Exhibition must possess full membership of the Syndicate of Journalists (SN) or the International Federation of Journalists (IFJ). The accreditation may be granted under following provisions:

  • Accreditation may be granted to representatives of the media provided that they have submitted a properly completed registration. Members of advertisement staff, secretariat, etc. are not eligible for accreditation.
  • Deadline for Accreditation Form Submission: 19nd September 2012
  • If possible the organizers will inform the journalists about the approval or denial of accreditation within 24 hours upon acceptance of application. The organizers reserve the right to deny any application without explanation.
  • Accredited journalists are obliged to prove their eligibility through ID upon the request of the organizer.
  • Accreditation in the form of a identification band is non-transferable and will grant access to the particular areas only. (VIP zone, Press Centre, Photocorner).
  • There is free acces to the Weekend Show and public-open area. No acreditation in necessary.
  • Accredited journalists are authorized to use the Press Centre at the event premises (Exhibiton Area, Leos Janacek Ostrava Airport) and all information and materials distributed within, including wireless internet connection (Wi-Fi). Press Centre opening hours and other provisions will be specified in September 2012. Location of the Press Centre is illustrated here.
  • Accreditations (identification bands) can be collected on days of the Event at the point of registration at the entrance to the VIP zone - see the Orientation plan.
  • Permission for entry and parking in a special area is a part of accreditation. This Permission (with unique identity number) will be send via e-mail and the entry and parking permit can be collected upon presenting the identification number, name, last name at the Registration point situated on the netry road to the airport - see the Orientation plan. The organizers reserve the right to deny the Permission to anyone because of capacity matter. There is no automatic right for Permission.

Due to security and organizational reasons, it is not possible to enable entrance to airport area outside public opening time.
