TRANSPORT: To NATO Days in Ostrava by train and bus
Enhanced and special lines of the official transporters of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, which are Czech Railways and ČSAD Vsetín, will ensure smooth and comfortable transport this year to the event area and will help you avoid possible traffic problems on the roads.
The České dráhy (ČD) has enhanced the connection on the route to Studénka and Mošnov, Ostrava Airport. Both regional and long-distance trains from Prague, Brno, and Olomouc, but also Warsaw and Katowice will additionally stop on the mentioned stations. You can also use special trains marked “NATO Days”, during 21 and 22 September, which schedule can be found in the Czech Railways timetables or on our websites.
The ČD tariff applies to all trains. We recommend you to buy seat reservations and return tickets in advance.
From the stations Studénka and Mošnov, Ostrava Airport you will be able to get to the event area by walking routes, which is about 3 km long. Between the railway station Studénka and Albrechtičky there will also be a two-way bus service provided by ČSAD Vsetín.
ČSAD Vsetín will also provide special bus connections from Nový Jičín and Frýdek-Místek to the Mošnov train station. There will be regular transport from Ostrava to Petřvald-Petřvaldík throughout the weekend. ČSAD Vsetín tariff and transport conditions apply to all buses.
