The Czech Police will present international cooperation and ensure security at NATO Days

NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days could hardly take place without the involvement of the Police of the Czech Republic, which is one of the main organizers of the event and also an important component involved in securing the event area. Its members will present their skills in dynamic demonstrations and will present the history of the traffic police at a static exhibition.

The spectators can look forward to a joint demonstration of the police officers of the Moravian-Silesian Regional Police Headquarters and their colleagues from the Police Emergency Unit of the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Žilina, who will intervene against the armed offender. In the second demonstration within the main program, the Regional Police Directorate of the South Moravian Region will present service motorcycles of the traffic police.

Police officers from the Cynology Department of the Regional Directorate will be present at the airport on both days. Together with colleagues from the Regional Directorate of the Police Force in Žilina and their four-legged partners, they will solve various crises, such as interventions against dangerous attackers.

“The Czech police is an integral part of the organization of NATO Days. In addition to the Army of the Czech Republic, it is the second-largest component involved in the preparation and course of the event, where it primarily oversees the security of the area," says Zbyněk Pavlačík. “Besides, we would like to invite visitors to the official service promise of the new Moravian-Silesian police officers and handover of the new cars as part of the Sunday program,” adds Pavlačík.

The static presentation of the Regional Directorate will present the history of the traffic police, which celebrates 100 years of its existence. The exhibition will introduce visitors to the Police equipment, such as devices for measuring speed and vehicles as well as motorcycles or historical uniforms. Visitors will also be able to see the equipment of police special riot units and or the Schengen bus of the Alien and Border Police. The presentation will be complemented by a demonstration of the equipment of the Police Presidium of the Czech Republic, including the presentation of vehicles or activities of police divers.

As in previous years, the officers of the Regional Directorate will also be prepared for the situation when a child is lost. The central place of action of these police officers, together with representatives of other entities, will be a tent located directly on the area, near the commentator tower (a place of dynamic demonstrations).
