Emergency medical service of the Moravian-Silesian region will participate at NATO Days and present

As every year, the Moravian-Silesian Emergency medical service will participate at the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days program and will also take part in the organization of the event.

Twenty paramedics will present their work and equipment to the public as part of static demonstrations. That will include a fully equipped emergency vehicles, as well as a vehicle of the special activity team with a bio box for the treatment and transport of patients with highly infectious diseases, protective suits used by the crew in such cases, and other accessories from this special team.

A completely new feature will be the presentation of a brand new Mobile Simulation Center - an ambulance vehicle, which will serve for the training. Visitors will be able to watch the work of the crew inside the vehicle on a screen located outside, as the workplace is equipped with cameras.

The paramedics from the EMS will once again show the provision of pre-hospital emergency care and this presentation will be shown repeatedly. Both adults and children will be able to try resuscitation of the patient on the new, modern, models with the help of professionals.

For children, the EMS teams in cooperation with the partner endowment fund Kryštůfek will have an entertaining-educational program and after completing the tasks they will be rewarded with small gifts.

However, the presence of the EMS at the airport in Mosnov will also have the purpose of actively providing qualified assistance at the event. The ambulance specialists will be ready to help in case of health problems of visitors.
