In the end they liked most the pictures capturing US bombers B-1 or B-52 and rainy weather that was typical for this year’s show. On the contrary, the Fans Award goes to the photo of the Italian aerobatic group Frecce Tricolori.

The photo contest of this year's NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days stepped into the evaluating phase, where the commission of organizer representatives, professional photographers and designers will choose three pictures capturing the event's atmosphere in the best way. In total 118 authors sent their photos according to the rules and you can took part in the voting, which of their 312 pictures will win the Fans Award.

As many as 85,000 people visited the second day of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days 2016, the biggest security show in Europe. Combined with the Saturday crowd of 45,000 in rainy weather, a total of 130,000 spectators came to see the show. History was made with numerous attractive displays as the Frecce Tricolori were voted the best dynamic display by the visitors.

The second day of record-breaking NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days promises more favourable weather than visitors of the show experienced on Saturday. Moreover, a unique flypast of at least three Eurofighter Typhoons is a lure for a visit of the Leos Janacek Ostrava Airport venue.

The first day of record-breaking NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days was visited by 45,000 people, who came to the Leos Janacek Ostrava Airport to see participants and equipment from 20 countries and NATO. Visitors had a chance to witness the richest programme of dynamic displays and widest presentation of military and security equipment on static displays in the history of the show, many exclusive premieres and over 100 aircraft.

This year’s NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days encountered unfortunately some changes in the programme announced just few days before the show. The Belgian F-16 Solo Display Team had to cancel its participation and NATO’s E-3A AWACS will be at static display for both weekend days.

Special partners of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days, TATRA TRUCKS a.s. a CZECHOSLOVAK GROUP a.s., will present its military, rescue, civilian and racing vehicles. This duo of leading Czech defence and security industry companies will showcase its products both to expert visitors and general public.

The HELI CZECH Company will offer a flight in the lookout helicopter during NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days.
