I would like to invite you to the prestigious NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days 2014 international event, to join us not only as a visitor, but more importantly as a distinguished guest – our partner who has decided to link the name of their company with our project.

NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days is an important social event, where representatives of the private commercial sphere meet with officials of the state and municipal authorities, top management of the event´s participants and partners, as well as with important guests from political, business, scientific, cultural, social or sport realms. Members of the government, representatives of NATO and the EU, officials of the regions and cities, ambassadors, military and air attachés, foreign civilian and military delegations and other guests both from the Czech Republic and increasingly from abroad, from Europe and the USA – these all are among regular distinguished guests of the NATO Days in Ostrava.

Our event´s motto is “Our security is not given and there is no prosperity without security”. This is why we aim at presenting to the general public the widest possible range of means which the Czech Republic and its allies possess in providing security. The event already belongs to the “club of the prestigious European shows”, and, in spite of the increasing costs of its organization each year, the general public will always enjoy a free admission.

NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days is the most visited two-day family event in the Czech Republic. Yet, it is more than just a show with an attractive programme. The event also serves as an important venue for explaining crucial security topics and a unique occasion where we can recall and honour our rich traditions.

In 2014, the Czech Republic will celebrate anniversaries of several important historical events, which have had an effect on its security and integration to the transatlantic space. The commemoration of 15 years as the NATO member state and 20th anniversary of the Alliance Partnership for Peace programme will, therefore, be among the topics of the approaching event.
