We congratulate the 7th Mechanized Brigade to its anniversary
The 7th Mechanized Brigade is celebrating 20 years since it was inaugurated. It is the strategic unit of the Czech Armed Forces, which plays a very important part in the programme and organizing of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days.
Combat planes raged over Ostrava, thousands visited the show
Combat aircraft in the air, heavy army equipment and response units on the ground. After two action-packed weekend days at the Mošnov airport, the NATO Days in Ostrava is over. Some 225,000 spectators visited the show, including President Miloš Zeman.
Over 140,000 spectators visited on Day 1
Attracted by rich programme and great late-summer weather, some 140,000 spectators visited Day 1 of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days 2014. Under flags of 16 participating countries and NATO, 8 hours of programme full of individual and joint dynamic presentations was staged, including 4 hours of flying displays. Among the distinguished visitors on Saturday was also Prime Minister Bohuslav Sobotka.
NATO Days will experimence the taste and strength of the Zubr beer
The visitors of the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days will again have an oportunity to taste the beer Zubr (transl. bison). The Zubr brewery prepared especially for the Weekend Show its 12,5° non-filtered lager Zubr Extra Force. However, Zubr Gold, which was awarded the golden medal at prestigious Pivex 2013 competition, and other products will not be missing.

The Little Lions will cope with the chemical incident, firefighters to present their equipment
The Fire Brigade of the Moravian-Silesian Region will not be missing on the fourteenth year of NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. It is traditionally cooperating with the Fire Rescue Brigade from Hlučín and they will present together their technology. Firefighters will be also represented by their younger colleagues the Little Lions from Klimkovice.
TATRA TRUCKS and EXCALIBUR ARMY will present their new products
Visitors to NATO Days in Ostrava and Air Force Days Czech Republic can look forward to an interesting presentation of event’s special partners - TATRA TRUCKS and EXCALIBUR ARMY companies, which work closely not only at this year's NATO Days. One of the media partners of event is also a ČAS radio channel, which will broadcast directly from premises of the NATO Days & Czech Air Force Days on frequency 88, 6 FM. On this frequency information about situation on airport or on access roads will be available.

Announcement of changes at the last minute is an integral part of every one big action and it is an issue that cannot be influenced by any organizers. The early warning system aircraft E-3A AWACS squadron of NATO called off this year participation on the NATO Days in Ostrava & Czech Air Force Days. Positive change is the confirmation of participation of the American flying tanker KC-135.
